An amazing 3 year Bible course with Faith Bible Institute, taken in my early 20's, kicked off an addiction to Bible knowledge. After 2 decades of enrollment in the "Holy Spirit academy," in 2019, I finally fulfilled my goal of getting a degree in my favorite topic...the Word of God.

The Bible is such a fundamental part of walking our faith out with God. If we don't know what's really being said, we can't apply it correctly, and we could be spreading false hope with incorrect focus. My goal is to get you thinking about what the Bible actually says about a topic.

Research and Learning are my ironic gifts; like Moses' speech impediment (for lack of a better term). I hated school when I "had to" be there. Now I love learning. It's fun how God uses things we ran from at some point...things we consider a weakness. You could say He uses the goo inside a chrysalis to create the beautiful creature He intends us to be.

The Idea Behind Metamorphic Grace

Metamorphosis:

The truth about Butterflies:

A caterpillar HAS TO enter a cocoon and dissolve into goo (don't ask how I know this....I'm still scarred) or it won't transform into butterfly. It can't be helped through the process either, it will die. There is no way but through the pain.

The truth about Humans:

Genesis says we were created to worship God. We messed it up...that changed NOTHING in God's perspective; He knew what He was making from the very beginning. He HAS TO turn us to goo (1 Peter 1:7) through the brokenness we endure in order to turn us into what He created us to be... what I call a Worship Artist.

Jesus promised us trouble in the world. As Christ followers, we are called to a higher standard and encouraged to run this tough race with excellence (1 Corinthians 9:24-27). How do you achieve that in a broken world only breaking more? You saturate yourself in the promises of the Creator, get spiritual tools and weapons, and surround yourself in like-minded people who will lead you toward the One Who has the Truth. Like Paul said, follow me as I follow Jesus. Metamorphic Grace is here to show you how to tap into and thrive in worship and get past some hard issues in a Biblical way.
